The UMI rear lift bars replace the factory rear lower trailing arms without altering the vehicle's ride height. These bars enhance traction by working with axle torque to load the car's chassis, resulting in improved launches and better 60-foot times. The optional weld-in or bolt-in rear mounting brackets offer three settings for adjustable height (2″, 2-3/4”, or 3-1/4”), specifically designed to enhance traction and reduce wheel hop. The replacement lower trailing arm is made from boxed mild steel with greaseable polyurethane bushings, minimizing bushing deflection for street use. UMI's Lift bars accommodate stock or aftermarket sway bars and maintain proper sway bar alignment. This setup corrects lost geometry and instant center on a lowered vehicle. Consider pairing with UMI adjustable upper control arms for optimal rear suspension performance.
