  • After installing the brackets, measure the distance between the centers of the mounting points where the shocks will be attached. This measurement should be taken when the vehicle is at its normal ride height, which is the height the vehicle will maintain during regular driving conditions. Rear shocks may not clear all exhaust tail pipes.
