This inner tie-rod end renews a critical pivot in the steering linkage, restoring a solid connection that transmits steering input to the wheel. Replacing a worn joint reduces free play, helps restore steering response and provides a stable connection for setting toe. Designed for 1978-88 GM G-Body, it provides the correct inner steering-linkage service point for the application.
