Outer tie rod restores the threaded steering connection between the adjustment sleeve and steering arm.
Renew the outer steering linkage on 1969-70 Pontiac Grand Prix models with an application-specific tie rod end. The threaded shank connects to the adjusting sleeve for alignment, while the tapered ball-stud end connects to the steering arm so center-link movement can be transferred to the wheel.
