Idler arm supports the center link opposite the pitman arm to maintain steering-linkage height and geometry.
The idler arm supports the passenger side of the center link opposite the pitman arm, maintaining steering-linkage height as the wheels turn. Replacing a worn arm reduces unwanted center-link movement and helps restore consistent toe control and steering response. Designed for 1978-88 GM G-Body, 1978-84 DeVille & Fleetwood, Premium, this premium replacement maintains the correct center-link support geometry for the application.
