Idler arm supports the center link opposite the pitman arm to maintain steering-linkage height and geometry.
The idler arm supports the passenger side of the center link opposite the pitman arm, maintaining steering-linkage height as the wheels turn. Replacing a worn arm reduces unwanted center-link movement and helps restore consistent toe control and steering response. Designed for 1973-74 Riviera & Chevrolet/Oldsmobile/Pontiac (Premium), this premium replacement maintains the correct center-link support geometry for the application.
