3/4-inch 30-spline rag-joint coupler replaces a worn lower-shaft connection to reduce steering play.
Replace a worn lower-shaft steering coupler on 1978-88 GM G-Body power-steering applications with this 3/4-inch 30-spline rag-joint assembly. The coupler connects the lower steering shaft to the gearbox; renewing this wear point can remove play caused by a deteriorated original coupler. Installation requires removal of the lower shaft, and instructions are included.
