1964–72 GM A-Body Front Lower Control Arm Bushing (1-5/8 in.)
Rubber-and-steel pivot bushing helps reduce harshness and play caused by worn control arm mounts.
This rubber-and-steel control arm bushing provides a cushioned pivot for the front lower suspension arm. Its 1-5/8-inch outside diameter, 2-7/16-inch overall length and 1/2-inch bore distinguish it from the larger lower-arm bushing used in other locations. The rubber isolator helps keep road vibration out of the passenger compartment while the steel sleeve supports the control arm mounting bolt. Exact-part catalogs document use across 1960s and early-1970s GM A-Body vehicles, including Pontiac GTO and LeMans and Buick Skylark and GS; individual model years vary.
