These precision body plates are needed to finely tune the bumper adjustment. They extend the bumper to sit correctly away from the fillers to avoid contact. Every car from the assembly line was built with these. No 2 cars are built alike so some may need more than others. Discontinued from GM, and not available from your local parts store. For front and rear applications.
