Restore your original brake master cylinder with this rebuild kit designed for 1962-66 Pontiac Bonneville, Catalina and Grand Prix models equipped with Bendix power drum brakes. The kit includes a replacement plunger, springs, seals and clips needed to service the internal components of the original master cylinder. Rebuilding a serviceable assembly allows you to retain the original master cylinder housing while replacing worn or deteriorated components.
Designed specifically for Bendix power drum brake master cylinders with two-bolt mounting, this kit provides the components needed for a master cylinder overhaul. Pontiac master cylinders were available with different mounting configurations, including two-bolt and four-bolt designs in 1962. Confirm the installed master cylinder has the correct Bendix configuration and two-bolt mounting before ordering. This is a rebuild kit, not a complete replacement master cylinder.
