Designed as an original-style replacement, the booster uses a dual-diaphragm configuration to provide vacuum-assisted braking while maintaining the factory firewall mounting arrangement. It installs using the existing mounting holes or studs, making it suitable for replacing a worn or malfunctioning power brake booster.
This booster is designed for 1978-88 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 1978-87 Chevrolet El Camino, Buick Regal, Oldsmobile Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prix, and 1978-83 Chevrolet Malibu models. Applications also include 1982 and 1984-87 Buick Grand National, 1983-86 Buick T-Type and 1982-86 Pontiac Bonneville. Verify the vehicle's brake booster configuration before ordering, as single-diaphragm and dual-diaphragm versions are available separately.
