This RESTOPARTS® Approved parking brake release rod and handle reproduces the original General Motors design for 1970-72 Chevelle, El Camino and Monte Carlo models. The black plastic handle features white factory-style release lettering. Its rod follows the original shape and connects the handle to the parking-brake ratchet, allowing the applied pedal to release when the handle is pulled. The assembly includes the mounting grommet for the rod passage. This replaces a worn, broken or missing release handle and rod while retaining the original pull-release operation.
