Factory-design ratchet and matching pedal trim retain the original appearance and operation.
This RESTOPARTS® Approved parking brake assembly reproduces the original General Motors design for 1970-72 Chevelle, El Camino and Monte Carlo models. The factory-style ratchet holds the pedal after the parking brake is applied; pulling the release handle disengages the mechanism. The assembly includes the pedal, release handle, release rod, rubber pedal pad and pedal trim. The rubber pad provides a gripping surface, and the matching trim retains the original appearance beside the other pedals. Supplying the pedal and release components together makes it possible to replace a worn assembly as a unit.
