EBC Brakes “GD Sport” rear rotors offer a distinctive slotted-and-dimpled alternative to plain-faced brake discs, with practical benefits during spirited road use. Wide, full-sweep slots direct cooling air into the pad contact area and move moisture, dust and friction gases away from the braking surface. Blind surface dimples provide additional venting without drilling completely through the rotor, avoiding the through-hole stress points associated with cross-drilled designs. As brake pads wear, the sweeping slots help maintain a flatter pad surface and reduce the formation of ridges that can compromise contact. EBC precision-machines, balances and runout-inspects these rotors and applies a protective, corrosion-resistant finish. Sold as a directional left/right pair. 2004–07 Cadillac CTS-V and 2006–10 Cadillac STS models equipped with 14.4-inch heavy-duty rear brakes.
