13-inch dimple-drilled and slotted rotors with 4-piston calipers and drum-in-hat parking brake
Convert the rear brakes on your 1979–88 GM G-Body with its matching stock 10-bolt rear axle using this CPP® big-brake kit. Two 13-inch, two-piece vented rotors pair with 4-piston aluminum calipers, offered in black or red. The zinc-coated rotors are dimple-drilled and slotted; their dimples do not pass through the disc. The two-piece billet-aluminum calipers use hard-anodized aluminum pistons, and machined mounting brackets position the calipers around the rotors. A drum-in-hat parking brake provides mechanical parking-brake operation independently of the service-brake calipers. The package includes the rear brake components, mounting brackets, parking-brake cables, hoses and installation hardware. Current CPP specifications identify rubber rear hoses. The wheel bolt pattern is 5 x 4.75 inches. Use disc-brake-compatible wheels at least 17 inches in diameter and confirm clearance before installation.
