Plain 11-inch rotors, stock-height front spindles and power-assist components
Convert the front and rear brakes on your 1968–1972 Chevelle and El Camino and 1970–1972 Monte Carlo with this CPP power disc brake package. The front assembly uses stock-height spindles, 11-inch plain vented rotors and loaded single-piston calipers, with mounting brackets, bearings, seals, hoses and hardware. The rear conversion supplies two 11-inch plain vented rotors, single-piston calipers, mounting brackets, rubber hoses, rear axle hard lines, parking-brake cables and installation hardware. The rear assembly is intended for the matching factory 10- or 12-bolt rear axle; verify the axle before ordering. A vacuum booster, cast-iron master cylinder, proportioning valve and front hard lines complete the hydraulic package. Select the booster configuration that matches the vehicle and available underhood clearance. The bolt pattern is 5 x 4.75 inches. These kits require disc-brake-compatible wheels at least 15 inches in diameter; verify wheel profile and brake clearance.
