Dimple-drilled and slotted rotors, red calipers, aluminum master cylinder and valve
Equip your 1968–1972 Chevelle or El Camino or 1970–1972 Monte Carlo with CPP’s front and rear big-brake package. The front system pairs 13-inch vented rotors with billet-aluminum hubs and red, dual-piston calipers. The rear system uses 12-inch vented rotors and red single-piston calipers with mechanical parking-brake provision. All four rotors are zinc-coated, dimple-drilled and slotted; the dimples do not pass through the disc. The package includes loaded calipers, front bearings and seals, caliper brackets, stainless steel brake hoses, rear axle hard lines, parking-brake cables and mounting hardware. The included aluminum master cylinder has a 1-1/8-inch bore and is supplied with a proportioning-valve kit. Front spindles and a vacuum booster are not included. Compatible front disc-brake spindles and the matching original rear axle are required. The bolt pattern is 5 x 4.75 inches. Allow at least 17-inch wheels at the front and 16-inch wheels at the rear, and check the brake clearance template against the actual wheels.
