Manifold-mounted bracket locates the Pontiac accelerator cable for correct linkage travel.
This Edelbrock® throttle-cable bracket is designed for 1972–76 Pontiac V8 engines with compatible Performer or Torker II intake manifolds. It positions the cable housing relative to the carburetor throttle lever so the original pedal linkage can operate through its intended range. Edelbrock identifies it with manifold families #2156 and #5056 and lists it as supplied with those manifolds; this SKU is the bracket service part.
