This molded-rubber accelerator-rod boot is a reproduction of the original 1960 Chevrolet Corvair engine-compartment seal. The rod opening and mounting flange match the factory arrangement so the boot seats around the accelerator rod. The flexible seal helps keep dirt and debris from passing through the opening while allowing the rod to operate.
