1968–69 Pontiac V8 Intake Manifold Thermal Vacuum Switch

Threaded intake temperature switch routes vacuum through the original hose-control circuit.

This reproduction thermal vacuum switch installs in the Pontiac V8 intake manifold coolant passage, using its threaded lower body to sense engine temperature. The upper vacuum nipples route the original engine-management and emissions-system hoses according to coolant temperature. Its configuration serves documented 1968–69 Pontiac systems; port arrangement and hose routing must match the vehicle’s original vacuum diagram. The switch should be selected by its number and placement of hose ports as well as the engine application, not as a generic manifold fitting.
