6-8-Cylinder Turbo Insulation Kit by Thermo-Tec®
Cut-to-fit insulation retains turbine heat while shielding nearby engine-compartment components.
This Thermo-Tec® turbo insulation kit provides material that can be cut and fitted around the turbine housing rather than relying on one fixed cover shape. Retaining heat at the turbo helps support turbine response while reducing heat radiated into the engine compartment. The 6-8-cylinder kit supplies 2-inch by 50-foot exhaust wrap, an aluminized heat-barrier sheet, an additional turbine-wrap section, retaining wire, straps and instructions. The combination accommodates a range of turbo housing shapes; follow the supplied fitting instructions rather than treating it as a preformed T3 or T4 cover.
