Reduce radiant heat in the engine compartment with the Thermo-Tec Basalt Turbo Insulating Kit. Designed for T4 turbocharger applications, this kit combines an insulating turbo cover with basalt exhaust wrap to help contain heat around the turbocharger and exhaust piping. By reducing heat transfer to surrounding engine components, the insulation helps manage underhood temperatures while retaining heat within the exhaust system. Available in Carbon Fiber and Ricochet styles, the kit offers two appearance options for custom and performance turbocharged applications. Each kit includes a T4 turbocharger cover, a 2" wide x 25' long roll of basalt exhaust wrap, two 18" Snap Strap fasteners and 10' of installation wire. These components provide insulation for the turbocharger housing and adjacent exhaust piping, with fastening materials to secure the wrap during installation.
