This steel intake-manifold pipe plug is a reproduction of the threaded plug used to close an unused vacuum fitting opening in applicable Pontiac V8 intake manifolds. Its ½-inch NPT tapered thread and original-style square-drive head match the service configuration used on 1969–70 Pontiac Ram Air III and Ram Air IV applications. The wider part family includes other 1968–77 Pontiac V8 uses. Use the plug only at the matching threaded port; the correct manifold vacuum connections must remain available for the vehicle’s installed equipment.
