A 1,500-6,500 RPM range supports a broad performance band with the matching Vortec head pattern.

This Edelbrock® Performer RPM 7116 manifold is intended for 262-400 Chevrolet Small Block engines using Vortec L31 or E-Tec cylinder heads. Its 1,500-6,500 RPM operating range supports strong upper-range performance with a broad torque band. The head bolt pattern is the defining compatibility requirement, rather than the engine block year alone. The Performer RPM arrangement accommodates the late-style water outlet, alternator, A/C and HEI equipment where compatible with the engine installation; accessory and hood clearances should be checked during assembly.
