Improve throttle response and low- to mid-range torque with the Edelbrock Performer intake manifold for small-block Chevrolet V8 engines. Designed for an operating range from idle to 5,500 RPM, this dual-plane aluminum manifold features optimized intake runners that promote improved air/fuel distribution and consistent cylinder filling. Its low-rise configuration provides strong street performance while retaining compatibility with many original engine accessories and components. Designed for 1955–86 Chevrolet 262–400ci small-block engines with compatible cylinder heads, this manifold includes provisions for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), an exhaust-heated choke, a late-model water outlet and HEI ignition. It also accommodates factory-style A/C and alternator mounting arrangements and includes provisions for adding an oil fill tube. The manifold accepts compatible four-barrel carburetors and includes an Edelbrock #8901 choke plate. Certain carburetor and EGR valve combinations require additional adapters or spacers, sold separately.
