Give your vintage Chevrolet inline-six engine a traditional hot rod appearance with this Offenhauser dual-carburetor intake manifold. Designed for 1937–52 Chevrolet 216 cubic inch six-cylinder engines, this lightweight cast aluminum manifold replaces the original single-carburetor intake with a dual one-barrel configuration. Its single-plane design distributes the air and fuel mixture across all six cylinders, offering improved fuel distribution and throttle response when properly matched with compatible carburetors. The natural aluminum finish provides a classic performance appearance that complements restored and custom engine compartments.
The manifold accepts two one-barrel carburetors with 2-5/8" mounting bolt spacing and features 1-1/2" carburetor openings with 1.400" intake ports. An included non-progressive throttle linkage kit operates both carburetors simultaneously for coordinated throttle response. Designed to work with the original exhaust manifold heat box, the intake uses exhaust heat to promote proper fuel vaporization and cold-weather drivability. Installations using aftermarket headers or split exhaust manifolds require a suitable alternative heat source beneath the intake. Ideal for vintage Chevrolet restorations and period-correct performance builds, this manifold combines classic Offenhauser styling with a traditional dual-carburetor induction arrangement.
