This matched induction package combines the Performer RPM Air-Gap #7562 aluminum intake manifold with an 800 CFM AVS2 four-barrel carburetor to promote improved airflow, throttle response and horsepower. The high-rise, dual-plane manifold features an open-air space beneath the intake runners that helps reduce heat transfer from the engine's lifter valley to the incoming air/fuel mixture. Engineered for performance in the 1,500–6,500 RPM range, this combination supports strong midrange torque and upper-RPM power for modified street engines and performance builds. The included AVS2 carburetor features annular-flow primary boosters designed to improve fuel atomization and an electric choke for convenient cold starting.
