This RESTOPARTS® Approved pair of reproduction fuel-tank straps is made for 1978–88 General Motors G-Body passenger-car applications (exc. Chevrolet El Camino). The formed steel straps follow the underside of the original-profile fuel tank and engage the mounting points through factory-style looped ends. The pair is supplied with installation hardware for the original-style mounting arrangement. Inspect the tank pads and fasteners while the tank is lowered; a loose or corroded strap can allow unwanted movement of the tank. The El Camino uses a different fuel-tank mounting arrangement and is excluded.
