This original-style fuel tank sending unit is designed to replace a worn or malfunctioning factory unit while maintaining proper fuel level monitoring. Manufactured with a durable stainless steel main body and lightweight brass float, the assembly features a three-outlet configuration to accommodate the original fuel line arrangement. The float mechanism responds to changes in fuel level, transmitting the corresponding signal to the factory dashboard fuel gauge for accurate fuel level readings. Designed for select 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood and 1977–78 & select 1980-81 Pontiac Bonneville and Catalina applications, this reproduction maintains the original fuel system configuration without requiring modifications. A new neoprene gasket is included to provide a proper seal between the sending unit and fuel tank during installation. Not intended for Commercial Chassis applications.
