Replace a worn or malfunctioning fuel tank sending unit with this original-style reproduction designed for the 1981–85 Cadillac Eldorado and Seville. Manufactured with a stainless steel main body and lightweight brass float, this assembly monitors the fuel level inside the tank and transmits the corresponding electrical signal to the factory dashboard fuel gauge. Its original-style configuration maintains the factory fuel level monitoring system without requiring modifications to the vehicle's instrumentation. A faulty sending unit can cause inaccurate or erratic fuel gauge readings, making it difficult to determine the amount of fuel remaining in the tank. This replacement includes a new neoprene gasket to help seal the sending unit at the fuel tank opening during installation. Designed for 1981–85 Cadillac Eldorado and Seville models equipped with the applicable factory fuel system.
