This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit brings together carefully selected, application-correct components for replacement of the original fuel tank assembly on 1970 Buick Skylark applications equipped with a 3/8-inch fuel sending unit and 1/4-inch return line. At the center of the kit is the correct 20-gallon reproduction fuel tank featuring the original-style 1-vent configuration and integral filler neck. The tank is professionally stamped to reproduce the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration. Two tank materials are available. The galvanized-steel tank features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance, with copper-brazed seams and components and additional protection applied to the brazed areas. For customers seeking increased corrosion resistance and a premium finished appearance, the 304 stainless-steel tank is stamped to the same factory-style configuration and uses tin-soldered seams. The tank includes the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and is paired with the correct 3/8-inch sending unit with 1/4-inch return. The complete kit also brings together the corresponding mounting straps and hardware, tank-to-body seal, fuel and return hoses with clamps, and the correct shallow-neck vented fuel cap.
