This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit brings together the properly matched components needed to replace the original fuel tank assembly on 1970 Buick Skylark models equipped with a 3/8-inch fuel sending unit without a return line and without EEC. At the center of the kit is the correct 20-gallon reproduction fuel tank featuring the original-style single-vent configuration and integral filler neck. Professionally stamped to reproduce the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration, the tank is available in the customer's choice of Galvanized Steel, Ni-Terne Steel or Premium 304 Stainless Steel. The Galvanized Steel version features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Tank seams and components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with added protection applied at the brazed areas. The Ni-Terne Steel version features a double-sided zinc-tin alloy coating for excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. The tank's distinctive metallic finish provides an attractive factory-style appearance, while tin-soldered construction provides a strong, durable assembly. The Premium Stainless Steel version is stamped from 304 stainless steel to the same factory-style configuration, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, premium finished appearance. The stainless tank also features tin-soldered construction. The tank includes the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and is paired with the correct 3/8-inch sending unit without return.
