This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit is designed for 1970 Pontiac GTO, Tempest and LeMans models equipped with a 3/8-inch fuel sending unit with return, bringing together the properly matched components needed to replace the original fuel tank assembly. At the center of the kit is the correct reproduction fuel tank featuring the factory-style triple-vent configuration. Professionally stamped to reproduce the original dimensions, contours and mounting configuration, the tank is available in a choice of Galvanized Steel, Ni-Terne Steel or Premium Stainless Steel. The Galvanized Steel version features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance. Ni-Terne Steel features a corrosion-resistant zinc-tin alloy coating, while Premium Stainless Steel provides excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, premium finished appearance.
