This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit brings together the major components required to replace the original fuel tank assembly on 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass applications equipped with the 2-vent tank configuration, 3/8-inch fuel line without return, and without EEC. At the center of the kit is the correct 20-gallon, 2-vent reproduction fuel tank with integral filler neck. Professionally die-stamped from galvanized steel, the tank reproduces the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration. The galvanized steel features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance, while the seams and attached components are copper brazed with additional protection applied to the brazed areas. Rather than requiring the individual installation components to be selected separately, C242250 also includes the correct 3/8-inch fuel sending unit without return line, galvanized fuel tank mounting straps, tank strap hardware, tank-to-body seal, fuel hose with clamps, and shallow-neck vented fuel cap. The fuel tank itself also includes the sending-unit lock ring and gasket.
