This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit combines the major components required to replace the original fuel tank assembly on 1968–69 Buick Skylark models equipped with a 3/8-inch fuel sending unit and 1/4-inch return line. The kit is built around the correct 20-gallon, 2-vent reproduction fuel tank with integral filler neck. Professionally die-stamped from galvanized steel, the tank reproduces the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration. A double-sided zinc coating provides corrosion protection to both the interior and exterior steel surfaces. The tank's seams and attached components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with an additional protective finish applied to the brazed areas. The fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket are included with the tank. This complete package is correctly configured around a 3/8-inch fuel sending unit with 1/4-inch return, and brings together the tank, sending unit, galvanized mounting straps and hardware, tank-to-body seal, fuel and return hoses with clamps, and the correct deep-neck non-vented fuel cap.
