RESTOPARTS® Complete Factory-Style Fuel Tank Replacement Kit — Galvanized Steel
This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit brings together carefully selected, application-correct components for replacement of the original fuel tank assembly on 1968–69 Buick Skylark models equipped with a 3/8-inch fuel sending unit without a return line.
At the center of the kit is the correct 20-gallon reproduction fuel tank featuring the original-style 2-vent configuration and integral filler neck. Professionally die-stamped from galvanized steel, the tank reproduces the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration.
The galvanized steel features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance, protecting both the interior and exterior surfaces. Tank seams and attached components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with an additional protective finish applied to the brazed areas.
The tank includes the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and is paired with the correct 3/8-inch sending unit without a return connection. The complete package also brings together the properly matched mounting, sealing and fuel-delivery components for a coordinated installation.
