Fuel Tank Kit, 1966-67 Skylark, 3/8" Sending Unit

This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit brings together carefully selected, application-correct components for replacement of the original fuel tank assembly on 1966–67 Buick Skylark models equipped with a 3/8-inch fuel sending unit without a return line. At the center of the kit is the correct 20-gallon reproduction fuel tank with the original-style single-vent configuration. Unlike the later tanks we've been working with, this application uses a tank without an integral filler neck. The tank is professionally stamped to reproduce the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration. Three tank materials are available: Galvanized Steel features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Seams and attached components are copper brazed, with additional protection applied to the brazed areas. Ni-Terne Steel features a double-sided zinc-tin alloy coating for excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. The Ni-Terne tank has its characteristic bright metallic finish and uses tin-soldered construction. Premium Stainless Steel is stamped from 304 stainless steel to the same factory-style configuration, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, premium finished appearance. Seams are tin soldered for a durable finished assembly. The tank includes the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and is paired with the correct 3/8-inch sending unit without return. The complete kit combines the properly matched tank, sending unit, mounting, sealing and fuel-delivery components into one coordinated replacement package.
