This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit brings together carefully selected, application-correct components for replacement of the original fuel tank assembly on 1966–67 Oldsmobile Cutlass models equipped with a 5/16-inch fuel sending unit without a return line.
At the center of the kit is the correct 20-gallon reproduction fuel tank featuring the original-style 2-vent configuration and integral filler neck. Professionally die-stamped to reproduce the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration, the tank is available in Galvanized Steel, Ni-Terne Steel or Premium 304 Stainless Steel.
The Galvanized Steel version features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance, with copper-brazed seams and components and added protection at the brazed areas.
The Ni-Terne Steel version features a double-sided zinc-tin alloy coating for enhanced corrosion resistance and an authentic bright metal appearance. Seams are tin soldered for a durable finished assembly.
The Premium Stainless Steel version is stamped from 304 stainless steel to the same factory-style configuration, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, premium appearance. Seams are tin soldered for durability.
The tank includes the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and is paired with the correct 5/16-inch sending unit without a return connection. The complete package also brings together the corresponding mounting, sealing and fuel-delivery components for a properly matched installation.
