This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit is designed for 1965–67 Pontiac GTO and 1966–67 Tempest and LeMans models equipped with a 5/16-inch fuel sending unit without return, bringing together the properly matched components needed to replace the original fuel tank assembly. At the center of the kit is the correct 21.5-gallon reproduction fuel tank featuring the original-style vent on the filler neck. Professionally stamped to reproduce the factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration, the tank is available in a choice of Galvanized Steel, Ni-Terne Steel or Premium Stainless Steel. The Galvanized Steel version features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance. Ni-Terne Steel features a double-sided zinc-tin alloy coating for enhanced resistance to rust and corrosion, while Premium Stainless Steel is stamped from 304 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and a premium finished appearance. The tank is paired with the correct 5/16-inch sending unit without return, along with application-matched mounting, sealing and fuel-delivery components for a coordinated fuel-tank replacement package.
