This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit is designed for 1964 Buick Skylark models equipped with a 5/16-inch fuel sending unit without return, bringing together the properly matched components needed to replace the original fuel tank assembly.
At the center of the kit is the correct 21.5-gallon reproduction fuel tank featuring the original-style single-vent configuration and integral filler neck. Professionally stamped to reproduce the factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration, the tank features galvanized steel construction with a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance on both the interior and exterior surfaces.
Tank seams and attached components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with additional protection applied at the brazed areas. The result is a strong, corrosion-resistant replacement that retains the original-style configuration and fit of the factory Buick tank.
The tank includes the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and is paired with the correct 5/16-inch sending unit without return. The remaining mounting, sealing and fuel-delivery components are application-matched to provide a coordinated fuel-tank replacement package.
