This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit is designed for 1964 Pontiac GTO, Tempest and LeMans models equipped with a 5/16-inch fuel sending unit, bringing together the properly matched components needed to replace the original fuel tank assembly. At the center of the kit is a professionally stamped reproduction fuel tank, formed to reproduce the original factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration. Available in a choice of Galvanized Steel or Premium Stainless Steel. The Galvanized Steel version features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance, with copper-brazed seams and components for strength and durability. The Premium Stainless Steel version is stamped from 304 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, premium finished appearance. The tank is paired with the correct 5/16-inch fuel sending unit, along with application-matched mounting, sealing and fuel-delivery components for a coordinated fuel-tank replacement package.
