This comprehensive RESTOPARTS® fuel tank kit is designed for 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass models equipped with a 5/16-inch fuel sending unit without return, bringing together the properly matched components needed to replace the original fuel tank assembly while retaining the factory-style fit and fuel-system configuration. At the center of the kit is the correct 20-gallon reproduction fuel tank featuring the original-style single-vent configuration and separate filler-neck arrangement. Professionally stamped to reproduce the factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration, the tank is offered in a choice of Galvanized Steel or Premium Stainless Steel. The Galvanized Steel version features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Seams and attached components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with additional protection applied at the brazed areas. The Premium Stainless Steel version is stamped from 304 stainless steel to factory-style specifications, providing exceptional corrosion resistance and a clean, premium finished appearance. The tank includes the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and is paired with the correct 5/16-inch sending unit without return.
