This RESTOPARTS® Approved replacement fuel tank is designed for 1968–69 Chevrolet Chevelle with the dual-vent fuel-tank arrangement. The stamped steel tank has an original-style shape and filler neck, with a lock ring and sealing gasket for the fuel tank sending unit supplied. Finish options include galvanized steel, Ni-Terne-coated steel and stainless steel. Galvanized steel uses zinc for corrosion protection; Ni-Terne steel uses a zinc-tin coating; stainless versions use corrosion-resistant stainless sheet. Fuel capacity is 20 gallons. The fuel tank sending unit and tank mounting straps are sold separately.
