This RESTOPARTS® Approved reproduction fuel tank is made for 1965 Pontiac Tempest and LeMans with the original no-vent filler-neck arrangement. The stamped tank body follows the original underbody profile and retains the appropriate filler-neck orientation, sending-unit opening and mounting locations. Its factory-style contours allow the tank to seat in the original mounting position. Available material and finish options are identified by the selected tank variant; do not assume the galvanized, alternate-coated and stainless versions share identical included hardware. When installing the tank, match the original filler and vent routing and inspect the sending-unit gasket, lock ring, filler hose and mounting straps. The tank is intended to replace the original fuel tank while maintaining the factory hose and sending-unit locations.
