This RESTOPARTS® Approved 20-gallon fuel tank is a reproduction of the original tank for 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle/Monte Carlo; 1968 & 1970 Pontiac GTO/LeMans/Tempest. The tank is configured with two vents. The filler neck is not included. The sending-unit lock ring and gasket are included. Choose galvanized steel, Ni-Terne steel or stainless steel. Galvanized tanks have a double-sided zinc coating to resist corrosion, copper-brazed seams and components, and a protective powder coating over the brazed areas. Ni-Terne tanks use a double-sided zinc-tin alloy coating and tin-soldered joints for corrosion protection and a bright surface. The stainless steel version is stamped from 304 sheet to the factory profile and tin soldered. Match the vent arrangement and filler-neck configuration to the tank being replaced.
