This premium RESTOPARTS® fuel tank is reproduced specifically for 1961–69 Chevrolet Corvair models, with the correct factory dimensions, contours, mounting points and fuel-system connections for proper installation in the original location. Professionally stamped to factory specifications, CV10135 is available in a choice of Galvanized Steel or Premium 304 Stainless Steel, allowing the customer to select either an excellent factory-style replacement or upgrade to stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and a premium finished appearance. The Galvanized Steel tank features a double-sided zinc coating for corrosion resistance on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Seams and attached components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with an additional protective coating applied to the brazed areas. The Premium Stainless Steel tank is stamped from 304 stainless steel to the same factory specifications, providing exceptional corrosion resistance and a clean, premium appearance. Seams are tin soldered to provide a strong, durable assembly. Both versions include the fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket and incorporate the correct application-specific fuel connections required for the Corvair fuel system.
