This premium RESTOPARTS® fuel tank is specifically reproduced for 1961–63 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Forward Control models requiring the tank without a shifter-hole provision. Its application-specific shape, dimensions and mounting configuration reproduce the original tank used in Chevrolet's Forward Control platform. Professionally stamped from steel to the original-style configuration, the tank features a double-sided galvanized zinc coating for corrosion resistance on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Tank seams and attached components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with an additional protective coating applied to the brazed areas. Unlike the conventional Corvair passenger-car fuel tank, CV32048 is specifically configured for the Corvair 95 Forward Control chassis, making the correct tank design particularly important when restoring these unique vehicles.
