This high-quality reproduction fuel tank is specifically designed for 1956 Cadillac Series 62 and Eldorado models, reproducing the original tank's 22-gallon capacity, dimensions, contours and mounting configuration. It is not intended for Commercial Chassis applications. Professionally stamped from steel and finished in corrosion-resistant galvanized coating, the tank provides the correct factory-style shape and fit required for installation in the original location. The 22-gallon capacity and application-specific configuration accurately replace the original-style 1956 Cadillac tank. This tank is manufactured without a complete filler neck, as required for this application, and incorporates the correct flange for connection to the vehicle's large fuel-filler hose. This allows the original-style separate filler-neck arrangement to be retained.
