This high-quality reproduction fuel tank is designed for applicable 1941–47 Cadillac passenger-car models, reproducing the original 20-gallon capacity, factory dimensions, contours and mounting configuration for proper installation in the original location. Professionally stamped from 20-gauge steel, CE16264 is formed to original-style dimensions and incorporates the correct non-vented tank configuration for these early Cadillac applications. A durable silver powder-coated finish protects the steel against rust and corrosion while providing a clean finished appearance. The tank is correctly designed for Cadillac's separate filler-neck arrangement. Rather than incorporating a complete filler neck into the tank, it features the proper flange for connection to the vehicle's large fuel-fill hose, retaining the original-style fuel-filler configuration.
