This premium RESTOPARTS® fuel tank is specifically reproduced for 1985–86 Chevrolet El Camino / GMC Caballero models equipped with electronic fuel injection (EFI). With the correct 17-gallon capacity, original-style dimensions, contours and mounting configuration, it provides a properly configured replacement for the factory fuel tank. Professionally stamped from steel, the tank features a double-sided galvanized zinc coating for corrosion resistance on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Tank seams and attached components are copper brazed for strength and durability, with additional protection applied at the brazed areas. L241312 is specifically configured for the EFI fuel system and incorporates the required vent and return-line connections. The factory-style filler neck is incorporated directly into the tank assembly, maintaining the original fuel-filler configuration. The fuel-sending-unit lock ring and gasket are included, providing the proper retention and sealing components for installation of the corresponding EFI sending unit.
